I am a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with over four years of experience in diverse medical settings, including emergency response, trauma care, surgical care, and pre-operative and post-operative recovery. In 2019, during my third year of university, I volunteered during the measles outbreak in Samoa, partnering with international teams and government sectors to help Samoa’s Mass Vaccination and monitor children affected by the measles outbreak. Fast forward to my Orientation year, I worked as a staff nurse for 3 months in our main hospital and in the Public Health sector for 18 months to assist the COVID-19 response team. Under pressure, I consistently demonstrate the ability to thoroughly and accurately assess patient health and excel at working collaboratively to ensure that patients, families, communities and children receive holistic care.
