Phase 2 is securing development partners for the main sites development and ongoing needed trainings locally and overseas.
  • Secured the support of the Chinese Government, resulting in their commitment to fully fund 20 Samoan participants, led by the CEO of the Samoa Tourism Authority, to learn about cultural tourism in China. This followed a successful presentation to the China Minister of Tourism and Culture who visited Samoa, as well as the Chinese Ambassador to Samoa, outlining a plan to establish Sustainable Community Sites across the 11 traditional districts of Samoa, aiming to benefit all Samoans beyond the tourism sector.
  • Instrumental in the consultations with the Industry, Government agencies and communities for and drafting of the inaugural Samoa Tourism Policy; this was validated in 2025.
  • Was a key player in the CHOGM Samoa 2024 preparations: Was part of a 5-CEO team, selected by Cabinet to present Samoa’s case and preparations for CHOGM Samoa 2024 to the Commonwealth countries leaders and representatives in London.

For example Le Mafa Lookout; Ma Tree Walk trails and signages; the Coastal Walk; Mt Vaea Lookout facilities, fencing, lavatory facilities; Le Papapapaitai Lookout; Afu Aau Waterfall riverbank stabilization; and Giant Clams facilities. Other projects are in progress.
